Aly is very knowledgeable and reliable and the way he teaches is easy to understand. Even in a free the introduction class that I took, it never felt like he was rushing or assumed what you knew. He takes the time and care to share what he knows with a lot of care and thought. I would definitely recommend taking his classes, because he's a such a great teacher and person. I'll try not to make this cheesy: The classes I've taken at Bear Bridge Academy, all led by Aly, were unlike anything I've experienced before. After 15 years of dipping in and out of magick-focused groups, I've grown allergic to all things "too-fluffy." And happily, I can say Aly just gives an incredible amount of researchable information- no fluff added. With an amazing amount of knowledge and respect for African-based spiritualities, I feel at home when learning from this beautiful soul. What a great academy!

Had such a great experience taking the Year and a Day class with Aly. Being a newbie to all things witchcraft, I was pretty intimidated. Aly was able to provide guidance and with a gentle touch. The course work was challenging in the best way possible. Witchcraft is lovely (at least what I know of it so far) and well worth the journey.

I've taken several courses at Bearbridge Academy! I have learned a lot under the tutelage of Headmaster Aly and his cohort of teachers. Mediumship & Psychic Development helped me understand my psychic gifts and open myself up to mediumship, and Integrating Psychic Divination taught me about alternative ways to connect psychically other than through traditional tools such as Oracle or Tarot cards. I had such a great time, and cannot wait to take more courses, as well as attend the Fall Retreat in September!

After years of living in denial of what and who I am, I found aly and bearbridge academy. Somehow of all the places in all the world, his was the only online school I could find at the time. Working with and learning from Aly has been an absolutely rewarding experience. His history and experience in the occult is evident. Bearbridge is the real deal. Relatively new to the craft with lots to learn. Never felt judged. This is an open, welcoming community. I’ve taken free classes, workshops and 6 week courses.
